how are you? i've been trying to keep up with this - i've noticed that horses must have it in for them this year for some reason. first the fires, then the steroids, and now this slaughter-export for food business (although i had to wonder for a while - what the heck would someone slaughter horses for? upon reading the link - i see). it seems like every year - some unfortunate animal is given the shaft - last year was the hunt the bears in the tri-state area, then there was the hunt the cats in the mid west, then there is the seal situation going on (ugly idea using their skin for clothes, if you ask me), birds are being destroyed because of the bird flu, people are tired of deer and geese poop (come on, give me a break - i heard poop is good for fertilizer), then the polar bears ice patches melting, this year is the horses, a coyote was caught in a ny park and died when tagged........there is always something going on. when will we learn and how can we picture a world where we can coexist? the distance between peace and prosperity is widening - what's with the gap?
