"An Inconvenient Truth" coming to a theatre near you!
"An Inconvenient Truth," the passionate and inspirational documentary about global warming featuring Al Gore, has opened to rave reviews in New York and Los Angeles and will soon be opening nationwide.
The film, which received standing ovations at the Sundance Film Festival, is based on the former vice president's brilliant multi-media global warming presentation that has enthralled audiences around the world. Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen wrote "you will be captivated, and then riveted and then scared out of your wits."
The film, co-produced by NRDC trustee Laurie David, presents a powerful depiction of the choice before us: we can avert a global warming catastrophe with solutions that exist today, or we can condemn the world's children to a future of drought, disease, floods and lost ecosystems.
