Amber Alert Issued For 3 Sisters
Mother Found Dead, Police Suspect Homicide

SAGINAW, Mich. -- Three children whose mother was found dead are missing.
Police said they believe their father abducted the children and fear he may hurt them.
The Saginaw Police Department issued an Amber Alert after finding Erica Olguin dead Monday evening. Police said they are investigating her death as a homicide.
The sisters are described as Hispanic girls, and all have brown eyes and black hair. More details are given below.
Victoria Olguin, 3, is described by police as weighing 27 pounds and standing at about 2 feet 10 inches tall.
Lilliana Olguin, 5, is estimated to be 3 feet tall and weigh 35 pounds, according to police.
Elena Olguin, 9, weighs 52 pounds and is 4 feet 6 inches tall, police said.
All three children are missing, and police believe they were abducted by their estranged father, Jose Angel Olguin. Police said they believe the girls are in extreme danger.
Olguin, 35, is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, 275 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Police said Olguin's vehicle is a yellow Buick Skylark with Michigan plates that read BWW6981. The car has duct tape on the passenger side mirror and said the emblem on the trunk is damaged, and reads B I K.
Police said the father visited relatives in Elkhart, Ind., Monday night, before his wife's death was known. Police said the girls were with him.
Police discovered Erica Olguin's body inside of her home after she failed to pick up her 11-year-old son at his school.
Anyone with information regarding the children's or Olguin's whereabouts is asked to contact Saginaw Police at 989-737-3304.

Saw that on the news last night. On MySpace they have a TON of Amber Alerts from like Detroit. I was shocked it was in Saginaw. Hopefully everyone is ok and the dad gets into custody :-\

Oh wow... that is horrible! I see many terrible stories around Memphis like this too. People seem to get worse and worse.
I will have these people in my thoughts and prayers. I don't know anyone in those parts myself though.

I read an article just a few minutes ago that the childern have been found - safe - and the dad is in custody.
I hope that the police can get to the bottom of what happened.

Its not far from me, I'll keep my eyes open. Off hand, I get they are still alive. either driving to a family/friend of the father or already there. If they don't find them soon, I'll call or email what I get at the time.

I just had heard on the news the dad is in court and is now charged to the murder of his ex-wife. Thought you'd like to hear the update on all of that.

yes but they hadn't found the children though they knew the children were in Indiana somewhere. That was a couple of days ago but I haven't been watching the news much.
