Mercury Retrograde And Magic
From today (January 28, 2008) until February 19, 2008, Mercury will be in retrograde. What does this mean to you and to magic? Everything.
Mercury is the planet of communications. When it travels backwards (retrograde), everything via communications; email, spoken word, letters, contracts, computers, phones, faxes gets garbled. What you say or right isn't what other people (including the universe) may hear.
So it is in your best interest to refrain from magic during this time. But if you must cast - make sure your words & actions are very specific - leave nothing open to interpretation.

Foolishly I did a spell without checking the calendar.I did this on the 1/31/08,3 days later I realize Mercury is in retro now what do I do.....Help

First - breathe:) Second - realize that your spell probably did not take.
Two things you could do:
1. Forget about it - no worries, no mind time spent on the spell. Your thoughts mingle in with the spell and only push it forward.
2. Do the spell again during the MR. That's right - do it again. But make sure that it is VERY specfic - leave no room for interpretation. Then center your thoughts on the positive outcome of the spell - without being obsessed by that outcome.

Hey, I was planning to cast a new moon friendship spell (to make new friends)..and I have been waiting for this new moon in libra comepletely fogeting about this mercury retrograde till 29th of september..
So is it okay to do that spell, although its simple and certain and leaves no room for interpretation.

Personally I'd wait until MR is over -- it's only another 10 days. I never cast a spell during a MR - too many things can go wrong.

Actually I can't wait till the retrograde ends, because I'm going to a new college and I need to make new friends fast, and if I did the spell after 10 days I would be too late, and I have to do it on a New moon.
So that means that I would wait m10 more days or something.
Can you tell me what is the worst thing that may happen if I casted my spell on the mercury retrograde?

The worst that'll happen when you cast a spell during a retrograde is the the exact opposite of what you wanted to happen will happen.
The second worst is that it will either come to pass for someone else or it will happen half ass.
