Best Cast On: New or Full Moon

Best Day: Thursday or Sunday

Supplies: Wheel of Fortune tarot card, paper, pen, orange candle, candle holder, Cinnamon & Orris Root (or powdered sugar)

Instructions:

Mix together equal parts of CINNAMON & ORRIS ROOT - put to the side.

On the ORANGE CANDLE, carve your NAME and DATE OF BIRTH. Place in CANDLE HOLDER. Light the CANDLE.

Take the PEN and write on the PAPER the OPPORTUNITIES you wish to manifest (keep them realistic).

Place the PAPER in front of the CANDLE.

Put the WHEEL OF FORTUNE card on top of the PAPER.

As you sprinkle the CINNAMON/ORRIS ROOT mixture on the WHEEL OF FORTUNE card recite:

Here are my wishes
I am manifesting into reality.

I am open to change
I want change
I deserve change.

Let the CANDLE burn down. Bury the CANDLE with the PAPER. Put the CARD back into the tarot deck.

Christmas Eve Oracle

Want to get a glimpse into your future? Give this oracle a try!

- On Christmas Eve, sit in a dark room with 3 CANDLES lit (they should be the only source of light in the room).

- Positions 2 MIRRORS so that one reflects the CANDLELIGHT into the other.

- Sprinkle MUGWORT in a CIRCLE around the area of the MIRRORS and where YOU are going to sit.

- Look into the MIRRORS and search for the 7th REFLECTION. In that REFLECTION a VISION of your FUTURE should be seen.

New Year Prosperity!

New Year's Stone

At sunrise on the morning of the New Year (Allie considers morning to be any time before noon), go outside and find the largest stone you can carry.

Take it back to your house and put it in a place of prominence (like on a fireplace mantel).

If you keep the stone in your house for a year, it will be one filled with prosperity.

Replace the stone every year - place the previous year's stone back outside.

NOTE: Allie does this every year and she swears by it!

Energy Protection Wall

Are you - or do you know someone - who soaks up the energy of the immediate enviroment? Give this wall of protection a try.

Imagine a wall growing up out of the ground, surrounding you, and climbing until it reaches over your head and locks together. It'll look like you are in encased in an upside down energy test tube (for lack of a better way to describe it). This wall can be out of any material you like - a good material is a nice thick ice wall so that light can still shine through or a wall made from crystals or even white light.

After the wall is in place - imagine that the walls radiates a nice golden color.

You are now protected from absorbing the energy of others.

Like anything else - over time the wall weakens - repeat as needed.

Decision Divination

Need to make a decision and you keep wavering? Give this divination spell a try.

Gather 9 COINS. Place them in your hands, close your eyes and while you think of your situation - shake your hands to jingle around the coins.

When you are done focusing on the situation - open your hands and let the COINS fall on the table or floor.

If most of the COINS land FACE UP - the answer is YES - FACE DOWN - the answer is NO.

You can also use this divination by reading most FACE UP = FAVORABLE OUTCOME or FACE DOWN = NOT SO FAVORABLE OUTCOME.

Lapis Love

Empower a piece of rough LAPIS and a PINK CANDLE with your desire to find love. Do this by holding each piece in your projective hand (the hand you write with) and imagining having that love in your life - feel the emotions and feelings associated with having that love. Once you can no longer feel the emotions - that piece has been empowered.

Use the LAPIS to carve a HEART and YOUR NAME into the PINK CANDLE.

Place the LAPIS next to the PINK CANDLE. Light the CANDLE and let it burn down.

Carry the LAPIS with you or wear it as a pendant.

Eternal Love Water

Is there a person for which you wish to have them love you for eternity? Are you really sure? If so -- try this...

Boil 10 - 12 cups of water.

Add to the boiling water either your menstrual blood or semen.

Let it all boil together for 3 min.

Remove water from heat and use the water to make coffee (preferred) or tea for your beloved.

Refrigerate any leftover water to use again if needed. Water can only be stored for 3 days.

The old saying holds merit - be careful what you wish for because it will come true. And another saying to keep in mind - karma is a bitch.

A Child's Protection Sachet

Nothing protects a child like a parent - or a dog.

Fill a BLUE or WHITE SACHET with LOOSE DOG HAIR and HAIR from one or both PARENTS.

Place a few strands of the CHILD'S HAIR into the SACHET, along with a few pinches of CINNAMON.

Give the SACHET to the child to wear or carry for protection.

Repeat every 3 months, using the same SACHET and burying the old HERBS/HAIR.

Horehound Strength

Studying? Engaged in an activity that strains your brain? Try this infusion as a brain pick-me-up.

Place 2 teaspoons of Horehound into boiling water. Let it seep for for 5 min. Strain the liquid and enjoy.

Unless you are a black coffee drinker who likes a STRONG cup of coffee, it would be a good idea to sweeten this with some honey and milk.

The extra powers of clearing the mind, quick thinking and mental strength lasts approx. 4 hours.

Repeat as needed.

Love, Sex and Energy Punch

Are you hosting a party this holiday season? Or maybe an intimate gathering for two? If so -- want to spread the love?

You'll need two non-metal bowls - large one to hold the punch and a small glass one to hold the stones.

Make your punch the night before your gathering. In the punch itself, set the small glass bowl. In the bowl place: 1 Quartz Crystal, 1 Amethyst, 1 Rhodocrosite - if you wish people to have sex sometime after the party - add in 1 Carnelian - want to add telepathic connections into the mix - add 1 Moldavite (if you add the Moldavite, take out the Quartz Crystal or you may end up with more wired people than you wish).

Cover the bowls with plastic wrap. Place it in a window sill or outside in the moonlight.

Remove the bowls from the window sill come morning - store someplace to keep it cool (if needed).

Before the guests arrive - remove the plastic wrap and the glass bowl.
